Part-Time, 40 hours per month, July 2020 - March, 2021.
GLYNT is seeking five Interns to participate in a community engagement program in the Modesto area as well as a Program Manager to lead the internship participants. These opportunities would be ideal for anyone looking to gain leadership skills and build positive relationships within the community.
GLYNT.AI, won a grant from the state of California to bring innovative heating and cooling technologies to homes in Modesto, CA. We have named the grant program SmarterCooler Modesto.
For this grant, GLYNT is partnered with Treau, the developer of an innovative home heating and cooling technology, and EPRI, a non-profit that provides expertise on electricity matters to benefit utilities and communities.
During the grant period, GLYNT will be assisting Treau in deploying home heating and cooling units in Modesto homes and bringing forward the community voice through a Fellows program. We will hire five Fellows, college students at Modesto Junior College or Stanislaus State University, for a 9-month program that builds leadership, STEM and communication skills. There will be two cohorts of Fellows during the grant period.
