The California Community College system recommends a "revitalized and re-envisioned professional development strategy...to yield an invigorated, supportive, positive and more skilled workforce that is better prepared to meet the needs of students and the community it serves." The Professional Development Coordinating Committee (PDCC)  agrees with the CCCCO Professional Development Committee that "professional development is an investment in the most valued resources in the system, its employees."  The PDCC recently secured a 2-year membership to 4C/SD - The California Community College Council for Staff and Organizational Development. This membership was made possible by funding from a Foundation Grant.
