What is the purpose of the Conference?

The purpose of the African American Education Conference is to enrich and empower current and future Modesto Junior College students to be successful in pursuing higher education.

Who funds the conferences?

The 2017 conference was funded by the MJC Office of Student Equity and the Associated Students of MJC.

The conference is hosted by the Office of Campus Life & Student Learning and organized by a working group of MJC administrators, faculty, and staff.  The agendas and minutes from those meetings are available below.
